Q: raspberry pi with Motor Controller

Yesterday I have got my raspberry pi. I love its performance I love its size.
I want to use this for Robotics project.
PWM Connector motor controller []

I wonder if some can throw any idea how to use my existing motor controller on my new raspberry pi.

The Yellow circles marked are motor Connections + & -. Red Circles are powers.
I also have TX & RX. But I am not sure if there is any microchip is in it,.

How do I use raspberry to talk to this board and run the Motors which ever directions I need to run ?
I am also looking for any cheaper LCD with touch capability for robot.

I appreciate response.
