Playing with the Bare Metal

Hi All,

Not sure if I am posting in the right area, but couldn't decide on any better places...

After a few minor mishaps (read broken VMs) I have a nice cross compiling toolchain to run on the bare metal. Also managed to bodge together a linker script which puts the arm interrupt vector table at the right place in the image.
And so on to my question - playing with the GPIO, and reading through documentation on the wiki, I noticed GPIO16 (SoC point of view) is attached to the "OK" LED. Now, as the program begins, I see the LED light breifly. Do I have control over this, or am I just imagining? I plan on getting the soldering iron out over the weekend to rig up a switch in an attempt to toggle the LED, or another pin, with the switch, or code up a timer to do it automatically.

Thanks

Andrew N
