My wife and I just moved into a new home we had built less than four months ago. We have solid wood floors throughout the house, and the ceilings in the living room, dining room and kitchen are tongue & groove wood with viga beams. In the dining room, we have the table centered in the room. This past Saturday, we noticed a circular pattern of "fine" sawdust on the dining room table. I looked at the ceiling and did not notice anything that looked out of the ordinary. So I wiped up the dust. This morning, the circular pattern of sawdust was back.

Could this be from termites or some other bug? We live in the Albuquerque, NM area, close to the river. Also, if it is termites, is there anything the builder might be responsible for since the house is only 4 months old?

Thanks for any help you can give!
